Set yourself for success

How to make your change stick?

Is 2025 your year for improvement? Making a positive change? Growing or building on what you’ve done previously?

As the new year dawned, lots of us set new year’s goals, didn’t we? Some of us even wrote them down (more later 😉!). There’s something about the start of the year that encourages us to be better isn’t there?

Whether that’s more personally oriented stuff like losing weight, taking more exercise, getting to grips with your finances, changing your mindset or your approach.

Or whether that’s more work-oriented stuff. Like trying to get promoted, kicking off the year with new change initiatives or perhaps even working out how you might change roles / jobs... most of us at one time or another have set resolutions haven’t we?

We all have the best of intentions too, don’t we? We don’t deliberately set out to fail.

And yet, as I write this towards the end of January, there will be lots of folk who have already fallen by the wayside or frankly are on the slippery slope.

Why is that?

There could be several reasons of course.

👉 Do you really want to do it?

👉 Can you do it alongside everything else you’re doing.

👉 Have you set yourself up for success?

This article is focusing mainly on setting up for success. It’s in two parts. The second will follow in a couple of weeks. Watch this space?
